The top-selling Cube Controls Formula Pro is one of the favourites with G Performance customers. Boasting the usual Cube Controls build quality, this wheel is one of the highest-end items you could mount on your direct drive wheel. While it’s designed for Simucube compatibility and can be configured in TrueDrive, this wheel is also versatile USB game controller that can be fitted to Fanatec, Accuforce, Sim Magic, Leo Bodnar and may other wheelbases with all formula-style quick release hubs (3 bolts, 1-inch PCD and 70mm PCD).
Pure carbon fibre

Ultra-assignable and ergonomic
One of the standout features of this wheel is the 13 assignable backlit buttons. Cube has a very ergonomic approach to the way their buttons are mounted in the front wheel face meaning the wheel is more VR user friendly.
The top buttons have a toggle-style flashing indicator when active, making for useful pit lane speed limiter, neutral or full course yellow modes. There are two “thumb” rotary encoders that can be used to adjust clutch bite point and two top encoders ideal for data scrolling or entry / exit diff settings.
The latest iteration of the Cube USB Connector is mounted at a “straight back” angle to aid with overall usability during furious qualifying laps.
Get off the grid with an assignable launch control system
The hall effect style short-throw magnetic switchless paddle shifters and clutch levers are ultra-firm with zero play and very easy to drive with accuracy. Make adjustments for the clutch bite point with the thumb rotary encoders for the ultimate grid start.
Designed for endurance racing
We love the elastomer moulded grips (via the Cube Controls own proprietary grip manufacturing technology). Dampen the high-frequency vibrations while allowing the driver to feel everything that counts. These grips help to alleviate tiredness over long stints.
High end clutch and shifter paddles
The adjustable shift paddles and clutches have a very short and fast throw with a noticeable tactile feedback. Built for sim racers, these items are very nicely machined, ultra-hard wearing (tested up to 2 million clicks!) and are very highly rated in the sim racing community.

Q: How does the Cube Controls Formula PRO connect to my gaming PC?
A: Cube Controls Formula Pro wheel comes with a USB 2.0 cable. Windows will recognise it as a USB game controller.
Q: How do I mount the wheel to my direct drive wheelbase?
A: The wheel comes fitted with a hub adapter with 3 M5 holes 50.8mm PCD compatible with most QR adapters. We recommend the SQR hub adapter for Simucube, the Fanatec Podium Hub adapter for the Fanatec DD2 and the Buchfink Q1R for any direct drive / MiGE based DD wheel. If you’re not sure just ask!
Q: Is there a difference between the Formula Sport and Pro wheels?
A: Pro wheels have CNC machined and anodised aluminium knobs and backlit buttons available, whereas SPORT use plastic knobs and have fewer backlit buttons.
Q: Is the clutch on the Formula wheels analog?
A: Yes. Both are mapped on the same controller axis, and the bite point on the left one can be adjusted by using the launch control potentiometer.
Q: Are Cube Controls wheels customisable?
A: Cube Controls don’t offer custom wheels – only the options available at purchase.
Q: What is the product warranty?
A: All Cube Controls products, as per EU regulations, are guaranteed for 2 years.
The Warranty is reduced to 1 year for products purchased for internal usage by B2B customers (e.g. simulation venues using our products on their own sim rigs)
