Sparco PRO 2000 QRT racing seat
Training in the best possible equipment is always paying off. Especially when we talk about racing simulators. Professional racing car drivers often spend more time sitting in them, than in the real car on a race track. The simulator has to simulate the real car conditions as authentic as possible. This can only be achieved with high-quality simulator hardware, including a quality chassis, steering wheel, pedals and seat.
And the seat is a critical component. The racing car driver feels the car through the seat and spends long hours in it – in extreme conditions and at high speed. The seat must keep the driver in place, keeping him concentrated on driving, but also provide sufficient comfort. How does the Pro 2000 QRT seat from the world famous Sparco brand fulfil these challenges?
The traditional material for the basic shell of racing seats has been for many years fiberglass – polymer reinforced with glass fibers. It is extremely strong, but at the same time lightweight. And Sparco Pro 2000 QRT is extremely light – the weight of it is incredible 8 kilograms. The shell form and side guides give the rider perfect body support.
The driver’s comfort is ensured by extra deep side armrests that absorb vibrations and shocks, as well as an adjustable pad on the back of the seat. The shoulder area is covered with a non-slip fabric to help keep the driver in place – even in the sharpest turns. The reinforced material at the seat edges prevents wear and tear of the fabric, caused by entering and exiting the race car or simulator.
The ultra-light Sparco Pro 2000 QRT is FIA approved and it is a great choice for a real racing car as well a professional simulator.
